Routine Annual Exam

A routine annual well woman visit provides an excellent opportunity to counsel patients about maintaining a healthy lifestyle and minimizing health risks. The visit includes a comprehensive health history, including discussion of family and genetic risks, a breast and pelvic exam, including screening for cervical and or vaginal cancers and sexually-transmitted infections for those at risk, discussion of the patient’s reproductive life plan, recommending vaccinations and other health-related screenings, such as colon cancer, skin cancer, and osteoporosis.

Menopause and Female Sexual Health

Entering the stages of perimenopause and menopause may pose significant challenges to some women. At Grace Gynecology & Wellness, we offer hormone testing and evaluation of emotional and physical symptoms to determine options for optimum health and improvement in quality of life. We offer traditional medicinal options, bioidentical hormone supplementation, hormone pellet therapy, and also encourage natural remedies to complement therapy. We encourage a multi-factorial approach to improve wellness and longevity to include dietician referrals, meditation, exercise, and even pelvic floor therapy.

Dr.King at Grace Gynecology & Wellness brings her knowledge and expertise to help determine if surgery is appropriate for either in-office or outpatient surgery options. She is skilled in minimally invasive laparoscopic hysterectomies and adenexal surgeries, as well as hysteroscopic procedures. She also performs a number of in-office procedures to evaluate and treat many gynecological conditions.
